    • Susan,

Thanks so much! I truly appreciate that you took the time to let me know. Currently, I’m working on a different novel, but I’m considering a sequel for Exposed. I’m hoping that readers will let me know that they want one, and I will even consider some of their ideas for a sequel.
      Thanks again,

  1. Hi Skylar,

I just finished Exposed, as well, and enjoyed it tremendously! I especially liked the fact that you let us see lots of what happened after “The Big Reveal.” Too frequently, the book ends shortly after such a reveal, and I appreciate the fact that you handled things differently. Insofar as a sequel is concerned, I love them, and would really enjoy reading one in this case, if you feel you have a story to tell. In particular, I’d be interested in seeing who Rafe and Daniel are in, say, a year or so. Where is Rafe working? What did Daniel choose to do? Or, maybe marriage will be legal in California by the time you start working again. If you’re interested in that path, and if the characters are(!), would they get married? And what will happen with Rafe’s younger brother? My imagination has gone haywire, and I’ve already decided that I think what is happening in that home. Therefore, I want Rafe and Daniel to fight for him and get custody. It might be really interesting to see how their relationship matures if they get married and become parents. I mean, these are both young guys. In a year, Daniel will be 30 and Rafe will be 26. They might love each other, but are they ready for the pressures of parenthood? And hey. Let’s imagine that Daniel chose to do one one of those one year baccalaureate programs (I think that is what they are called) for people who want to fulfill their pre-med requirements before applying to medical school, and then he actually goes. How will that have an impact on the relationship, especially if they’re newly-married and raising a kid, especially one who (in my head) has been abused? See! I definitely want a sequel, lol! I have no idea where you would want to go with the story, but man can I see so many possibilities. I love it when authors let us see what the “ever after” piece of “happy ever after” looks like. That is such a joy! But more to the point, I sucked down Exposed in about six hours, so yeah, I really loved the book. Thank you for writing it!

    • Hi there,

Thanks so much! Hearing that you read the book in a few hours is one of the best compliments that I could ever hope for! You have made my night! Thank you for taking the time to write and tell me.

Yes, I do hope to write sequel to Exposed. I am keeping a folder of ideas, and I loved some of your thoughts. Your ideas will be added to my growing list of possibilities! Spread the word to others too. LOL! I love getting positive feedback. It helps motivate me to go ahead and write the sequel.

Currently, I am in the middle of another story, one that I’m really excited about sharing soon, but I do hope to return to Rafe and Daniel down the road.

Thanks again for the lovely message,

  2. Hi Skylar,
I finished reading a guy from glamour a few minutes ago. This is the first book that I have read from you. Loved it, I look forward to reading next book in series in May. Now looks like exposed is calling my name. Thank you for sharing your talent
